Transformative applies the criteria outlined below when evaluating candidate companies for services and capital. Within this criteria, Transformative allows strong opportunities to drive segment choices rather than having segment choices constrain strong opportunities.

  • Domestic US presence
  • Established business with predictable revenue of at least $10MM within one year
  • Current valuation of $5-$200MM+
  • Profitable or with clear path to profitability within 12 months
  • Capable management team or willingness to make replacements
  • Clearly definable market opportunity that can be leveraged
  • Potential to provide > 3x return within 3 years
  • Defensible or sustainable competitive advantage
  • Customer validation in focused application, service or product
  • Market potential enabling > 7x return in 5 years.
  • Revenues of at least $3MM with ability to generate at least $15MM in revenues and clear path to profitability in 12 months
