Mr. Chasan is a successful entrepreneur, strategic advisor, Internet veteran, lawyer and digital media pioneer. Prior to becoming Chairman and CEO of Transformative, Mr. Chasan held positions as Managing Director of Greenbridge Capital Group, Inc., and Managing Partner at Publex Ventures, both of which were private-to-public hybrid equities firms.

Prior to Publex, Mr. Chasan was an Executive Consultant of IBM Global Services, Digital Media and Entertainment Group, where Mr. Chasan was a leader in IBM's development of marketplace strategies and solutions in the media and entertainment sectors and created several digital media solutions for IBM.

In 1995, Mr. Chasan founded Emusic, and as Chairman and CEO of Emusic built the premiere online digital music distribution and retailing company and a leading online music and entertainment superstore. In February 1999, Emusic was acquired by Goodnoise/Emusic.com, Inc. (NASDAQ: EMUS). Mr. Chasan left the company in July, 1999 and fully liquidated his position between September, 1999 and May, 2000. In June 2001, Vivendi/Universal acquired Emusic. Also, in 1995, Mr. Chasan formed Webcentral, one of the first web development, hosting and co-location facilities in the US hosting such customers as CalTrans, ReMax and AudioNet/Broadcast.com.

From 1985 to 1998, Mr. Chasan was the Managing Partner of Chasan & Associates, a Los Angeles law firm practicing in the areas of securities, corporate, real estate, entertainment and civil litigation.  Mr. Chasan is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, traditional and digital rights licensing, acquisition, management, distribution and sales. Mr. Chasan is also skilled in the development and implementation of a broad spectrum of marketing, PR and business development strategies for building sales, distribution channels and brand recognition.
